You can see the home “do(s)” at the top of each exercise (not necessarily the starting note, however). Since these are mixed-mode exercises, parallel key signature is used. It may be a good idea to write out the scales to double-check what the necessary accidental is for each mode. Also, I strongly recommend that you play and sing the scales in the given key before you listen to the sound file.
